As a lifelong Idahoan, I’ve been shaped by the values of our state, the lessons of small-town life, and the example of my grandfather, who served on the Idaho Falls City Council. His civic service inspired my own commitment to give back through public service.

I am running for Ketchum City Council because I believe our community deserves leadership rooted in transparency, integrity, and long-term stewardship. Ketchum thrives when every voice is heard and when decisions are made responsibly, with both today’s needs and tomorrow’s future in mind.

My priorities are clear: fiscal responsibility, environmental sustainability, workforce housing, resilient infrastructure, and a cohesive vision for the future. These aren’t just talking points—they are commitments. I will weigh every decision with care for its immediate impact and its ripple effects on our families, small businesses, workforce, and the generations to come.

Above all, I believe local government should put people before politics and meaningful progress before partisanship. I am ready to listen first, act with integrity, and work collaboratively to ensure Ketchum remains a community we are all proud to call home.

About
David Page

Ketchum and Sun Valley have been part of my life since childhood.  I first came here with my parents and grandparents - drawn by the rivers, the mountains and the spirit of adventure that defines The Valley. Over the years, those visits turned into something deeper.  As I grew older, I returned with friends and eventually, I knew: this wasn’t just a place to visit - it was where I sought to build a life.

In 2021, my wife and I made that vision a reality. We chose Ketchum not just for its breathtaking natural beauty, but also for the strength of its community - a place where we could finish raising our three daughters surrounded by the values respect and honor.

Whether I’m fishing, biking, skiing or simply soaking in the peace of the outdoors, this valley feels like home in every sense of the word.  And now, I feel called to give back, and to serve the community that welcomed us, and to help preserve and strengthen what makes Ketchum so special.

My grandfather, a respected City Councilman and president of the Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce, set an example of service that continues to inspire me. I’m running for local office because I believe in Ketchum, I believe in our community, collectively, and I believe in preserving its legacy while managing the future.  Let’s shape the future of Ketchum together.
